The Intertrust Guernsey Golf School is out on another roadshow today

we are at the guernsey mums annual birthday open day and we are holding a 6 hole junior golf event.

The lowest score of the day gets a years free admission to the schools Junior Golf Programme

AND WE’VE SPOTTED SOME FUTURE TALENTED PLAYERS ALREADY …..

THANK GOODNESS THAT THE GOLF SCHOOL AS A COVERED FACILITY. IT FEELS LIKE ITS RAINED FOR AGES. ALTHOUGH MY WIFE TELLS ME ITS ONLY BEEN THE LAST FEW DAYS… FEELS LONGER

HOWEVER THE TEMOPS ARE STILL GOOD SO GREAT GOLFING WEATHER

What a weekend !

Phew. The whole team are a bit worn out now……

We had our final Junior Golf Programme event of the season at the weekend and what an event. Over 40 competitors were present and the presentation in front of Intertrust, our golf school sponsor, saw over 100 parents, supporters and pupils present.

Thank you to everyone who participated and to the support of everyone who was at the presentation of the medals and certificates to our participants.

Junior golf in the Island is on the up and lets hope all the efforts from all the golf clubs produces quality island teams for years to come who can emulate the feats of the island teams this year.

Only 48 hours now before the new “flightscope” computers arrive.

The new fitting room at the end of the driving range is nearing completion and will house the system and all the team are looking forward to working with everyone on this new fantastic bit of kit. Come and have a look when you’re next at the club..

IF IT’S BEFORE SATURDAY BRING YOUR PAINT BRUSHES TO HELP US WITH THE FINISHING TOUCHES

Well its Saturday 3.34pm and the last time I checked my watch it was 7.50 am!

Had some great pupils today on  the range so well done to all of you that had some coaching this morning.

Had a great custom fitting with a pupil at lunch time. It was once again quite amazing to use the adjustable head technology in our Taylor Made and Mizuno fitting systems to find the most suitable club for him. His slice went and a straight shot appeared!! I may have to borrow it from him myself!

Also just finished pulling a range card out of the balll machine! What a life we lead. However Match of the Day tonight so will get my feet up later.
