La Grande Mare Golf, Guernsey Golf School and Flightscope

Just finished today putting in a lot of the new shaft and club choices ready for everyone wanting to change their clubs this winter in preparation for next years golf season.

All the new Nike shaft options are now hear and guys (and girls!)  if you want a driver that hits it long you have to try the new Yonex E ZONE driver

Its an awesome golf club. Come and demo it when you at the club next. Everyone welcome.

Intertrust Junior Golf Programme

Just finished the year long Intertrust Guernsey Golf School Junior programme today.

Its amazing how far the junior golfers at the school and the club have moved on.  The energy and effort that everyone has put into the programme this year has given everyone at the school a real sense of achievement and lets look forward to even more exciting things happening with the Junior programme next season.

Over half the field of players today had US KIDS junior clubs in their golf bags and boy do those clubs really work. I think the way each club is designed to fit the age and strength of a players gives all the players maximum distance and control regardless of whether they are 5 or 15 years old.

Well done US KIDS golf

Guernsey Golf School

Have you seen our Guernsey Golf School Website…

Please drop us a line and tell us if you like what you are seeing at LGM, Jam Golf and Guernsey Golf School

And well done Manchester United tonight. Even if you are not a red supporter wouldn’t it be great to have a golfing summer knowing that the Champions League is safely in the hands of a British Club.

And on a British Golfing note congradulations to Lee Westwood on holding onto the world number 1 spot.

From all at Guernsey Golf, Lgm Golf and Jam Golf well done Lee

Do you need to improve your golf

Do you need an equipment change

Snow and cold in Guernsey

Its not often that the snow comes down or it gets as cold as it has been over here on our beautiful island but the last few days have been pretty extreme.

But well done to all of you have still turned up to practise and play over the last few days either on the range or indeed the golf course.

Special well done to Sarah on her first ever venture onto the course today. Never ever been on the course and experienced the following: driving rain, hail, wind, sun, snow and to finish it off on the last hole thunder. Wow.

Just shows how keen this great game makes us in our efforts to learn it or improve at it.

Well done also to Pro Quip for looking after our friends from over the water in the Ryder Cup.
